About Us

The NCPC was established to do the following:
Strengthen public-private dialogue and to define the agenda to enhance the country’s productivity and competitiveness.

To perform this function, the NCPC is mandated to do the following:
  • Engage Stakeholders & Changing Mindsets: Build Awareness around the issues of Productivity and Competitiveness
  • Research that will inform policy: Measure National Productivity /Sectoral Productivity
    • Provide benchmarks where available
    • Facilitate Actions: Provide recommendations to stakeholders that to assist in enhancement of productivity and competitiveness
  • TA & Capacity Building: Build capacity where necessary

  • To undertake productivity measures in key areas such as labour, capital, energy, etc
  • To access results and recommendations on productivity measurements
  • To access sectoral data which for benchmarking

  • To access productivity data at sectoral level which allow for the understanding of issues faced at the sectors level
